NoVa TEEN Book Festival moved to a new location on March 30, 2019. We were delighted to host our 6th annual festival at Marshall High School in Falls Church, VA. Once again, writing workshops kicked off our full day of programming. Topics discussed throughout the day included forms and consequences of magic, strong and transformative friendships, books that take us back in time, complicated family relationships, political unrest and power struggles, and girls that kick butt and take names! With our largest group of Young Adult authors ever, NoVa TEEN breakout panels were held in a morning and afternoon season, allowing readers and fans to participate in small group Q&A’s and discussions with authors. Libba Bray gave the keynote address.
